Softworks to launch new expense tracking module at Softworld HR & Payroll

Softworks Workforce Solutions will be launching ExpenseWise at the Softworld HR & Payroll Exhibition on the 26th & 27th February 2003. ExpenseWise is an expense tracking solution that allows organisations to automate the collection and processing of expenses. ExpenseWise has been added to Softworks' market-leading ClockWise Time and Attendance Suite due to customer demand for a solution that eliminates the labour intensive task of manually processing expenses. The system allows companies to standardise, monitor and control various expenses including travel, meals, mileage and project expenses.

The PC, LAN or web-based solution can be rolled out to all employees who accrue work related expenses. With ExpenseWise, all expenses can be submitted, approved and processed electronically from any PC or Internet browser. ExpenseWise offers companies an electronic sign-off process whereby expense sheets can be submitted online to a supervisor for approval and sign-off. Employees too can easily view the current approval status of their expense request. The system can also be configured to automatically send emails to employees to ensure expenses are submitted on time.

Organisations can track and monitor expenses by individual, group, department or project. An extensive range of in-depth, real-time reports can be generated quickly and easily for analysis by supervisors and management. The tool also allows expenses to be easily viewed, approved and amended before being re-charged to clients. ExpenseWise integrates with ClockWise Time & Attendance / Flexitime / Honour based timesheets and ProjectWise. It can further reduce processing and data duplication costs by integrating with a company's payroll system.
