Free online newsletter now available for HR and Payroll professionals

Softworks Computing, Ireland's leading supplier of time and attendance solutions, has launched an online newsletter specifically designed for the hr and payroll professional. Initially created for Softworks' customers, and covering the latest legislative, technology and industry issues, the ezine has taken on a life of its own and is now circulated to over 2,500 hr and payroll professionals. Readers are encouraged to suggest topics they would like to read about in future editions, making this a topical bimonthly publication.

Recently published articles include features on employee self-service, work-life balance, absenteeism, performance management, psychometrics and the importance of taking annual leave. Each issue readers are kept up to date on legislative issues affecting their industry, for example the August issue covered the new BIK regulations due Jan 04 and new employment rights for fixed-term contract workers.

"Even though our ezine has been designed with the HR and payroll professional in mind, HR issues by their very nature have a human interest and as a result many supervisors and managers from various industries have signed up as well as consultants, legal advisors and even students," says Ciara Kavanagh, editor of the newsletter.
