The Irish Nursing Board takes steps to comply with The Working Time Directive by installing Time & Attendance software

Softworks today announced that An Bord Altranais (The Irish Nursing Board), has signed an agreement to implement its automated Time & Attendance / Flexitime (T&A) Solution. Joining a number of public sector organisations already using ClockWise T&A, An Bord Altranais plans to use the system to manage the attendance and flexitime of its employees. The Board will also use the "mini-hr" module of ClockWise to record personnel details.

David O'Flynn, Director of Operations at An Bord Altranais says "We chose Softworks because they give us the ability to seamlessly comply with The Working Time Directive by automating the process for recording the working hours and personnel details of all our employees".

With the introduction of various working options now available to The Boards' employees, ClockWise Time & Attendance / Flexitime will give An Bord Altranais the opportunity to efficiently manage the working arrangements of each individual employee. The well structured approach to project management, configuration, implementation and training impressed us and was a significant factor in selecting Softworks" says O'Flynn.

In addition, the software will help An Bord Altranais meet its Health and Safety obligations by linking into the fire alarm system. In the event of the fire alarm being triggered, Softworks Solutions automatically generate a list of all employees registered on the premises.
