Softworks, Time & Attendance Solution Providers, Expands Team

Bray, Co Wicklow - 13 November 2003 Softworks Computing, leading provider of Time & Attendance software solutions, has made a number of key managerial appointments and has expanded its team of programmers at its head office in Bray, Co Wicklow.

Leading the field in Time and Attendance / Flexitime software solutions, Softworks has offices in both Ireland and the UK and supplies attendance management solutions to an extensive customer base incorporating large and small manufacturers of technology, foodstuffs and consumer goods through to major financial institutions, legal practices, government, retail and other service industries.

The following appointments have been made:

John Cleary has joined Softworks as Business Development Manager, with responsibility for managing key accounts in Ireland. Softworks currently has over 600 customers using ClockWise T&A in both Ireland and the UK and is looking to further expand its customer base. John joins Softworks from Vodafone where he held the post of Indirect Data Manager. Prior to this, he was Sales Manager at HCS Solutions. John also holds an MBS in International Marketing.

Bernie Carton has been appointed Test Manager with Softworks where she will have responsibility for the testing team and for all aspects of the test management process. Bernie has extensive experience in this area having worked as a Test Manager with Sepro Telecom International for the past four years. Prior to that she worked with CSK Software.

Garret O'Kelly joins the Softworks' development team having worked previously as a programmer at Beaumont Hospital and in a technical support role at Esat Clear. Garret is well qualified for this software development position, holding a BA from UCD, a Diploma in Internet Systems from Aungier Street and a Diploma in Information Systems from Trinity.

Cathy McLaughlin is a recent graduate of the University of Limerick with a Diploma in Computer Systems. Joining the team of software developers, Cathy will be responsible for the continuing development of ClockWise, Softworks' Time & Attendance / Flexitime solution
