Softworks , is proud to announce Gallaher Group Plc has chosen market-leading Time Resource Management System for its two main sites in Cardiff, Wales and Lisnafillan in Northern Ireland. The solution provides time management capabilities for both non-salaried and salaried staff to handle all their 1250 employees networked over both sites.
Established in 1990 and headquartered in Bray, Co Wicklow, with offices in the UK, Softworks has concentrated its efforts on the management of labour resources since its foundation. Currently recognised as Europe's fastest growing supplier of client server and web-based Time Resource Management Systems and a Fast 50 winner for three years running, the Gallaher Group Plc deal serves to firmly place Softworks as a leader in its field.
After meeting the Softworks team, Christopher Morgan, Gallaher's IT Manager found the system very user friendly and easy to manipulate. "The Softworks system is very uncomplicated to use as it has the same look and feel as other windows packages, the system will require very little support which is definitely an added benefit!" says Christopher.
The system will handle all of Gallaher Group's complicated shift and roster requirements, automating the payroll process and providing full visibility of information to Line Managers and Team Leaders.

The Lisnafillan site has also introduced a new flexitime policy through the Softworks system to help achieve a work-life balance in the research and development department.
