Irish software company awarded employee rostering, HR and attendance management contract for all D.I.D

Electrical stores throughout the country.

Bray based software company, Softworks , today announced an agreement to install its market-leading Workforce Optimisation Solutionat all of D.I.D Electrical’s existing network of 12 stores throughout Ireland. Following a lengthy tendering process, wholly owned Irish Company, Softworks , has been awarded the contract.

The entire project will be rolled out in July to coincide with the brand new opening of D.I.D Electrical’s 13 th retail facility in Bray. D.I.D Electrical is the largest independently owned Electrical retailer in Ireland. Founded by Chairman Gerry Houlihan in 1968, D.I.D Electrical are renowned for their commitment to Customer Service, World Leading Brands and Guaranteed Lowest Prices.

The firm has 12 outlets, with eight in Dublin and its immediate suburbs. Other outlets include Drogheda, Kilkenny, Newbridge, and Tullamore. D.I.D Electrical were looking for a solution that would run in the background enabling them to pull relevant management information reports when needed. “We wanted a solution that would leave us to manage the business operations without being tied up with the administration of a complicated IT system,” says Tony Pender, General Manager, D.I.D Electrical.
